About

Over the last decade or so, I have accumulated a rather large collection of photographs from archaeological sites, museums, and generally nerdy/cool/beautiful places that I've been lucky enough to visit. For the most part, these are just sitting on internal and external hard drives, on three different phones, and on various flash drives, gathering digital dust. They make occasional guest appearances in my classroom and the walls of our home, but otherwise they aren't really doing anything.

This site represents my attempt to collect these pictures in one place. The photography collections have been organized by country of origin. Within each country, you can find collections organized by topic (e.g. archaeological sites; art and artifacts; landscapes and cityscapes).

Where possible, I have tried to include descriptions for each item, including provenance and dating for art and archaeological materials. However, some of these photographs were taken years ago, and I have quite simply forgotten the details in some cases.
